A quiz, lots of fun and bike ride all in one!

Guilsborough Primary School is a Church of England school and we have close links with the various Parish churches locally. This is a great opportunity for families to show their support and have fun at the same time. SO PLEASE DO JOIN IN !!

Join in on a
Family Bike Ride And Picnic

The suggested route can be seen in more detail at…

It is mainly on quiet lanes. The section from Hollowell to Creaton may have more traffic.

Young children must be accompanied by parents/carers to ensure their safety.

Sat 12th September 2009

Sponsored family bike ride from Guilsborough, via Hollowell and Creaton to Cottesbrook.

Visit the village churches.

Children’s quiz - hunt for clues in the churches.

Picnic in the fields on the gated road from Cottesbrook.

Suggested start time is 10.30am from Guilsborough church.

Everyone interested should gather there and (dependant on numbers and safety issues) we will all cycle together.

This event is part of the Northamptonshire Historic Churches Trust “Round the Churches” sponsored Bike Ride, so the exercise is for a good cause.

The route to Cottesbrook and the proposed picnic is approx 4.5 miles.

The complete loop back to Guilsborough is 7 miles.

For those that run out of steam at the picnic, I can organise a recovery wagon back to Guilsborough – as long as not everyone takes this option!

The opportunity for a picnic is going to be weather dependant. If possible my proposal is that we picnic on the gated road from Cottesbrook back towards Guilsborough. Each family will bring their own nosh!

Besides having a good time, I hope that you will be able to raise some sponsorship money for the NHCT.

Please contact Mike Fulcher at mike@thefulchers.co.uk or 07970 664190 if you are interested in participating (to let me know numbers).  Otherwise just turn up on the day! (The weather forecasters have said it WILL be fine!).
