Our Weekly Collective Worship Service in School
Each week, members of our church congregation come to school to lead one of our Collective Worship, which is currently an Open The Book service. This consists of a simple Bible story, and we are gradually moving from the beginning of the Old Testament through to the conclusion of the New Testament. Different children take part each week, and there are lots of lovely props and costumes used. Parents and members of the community are invited to attend.
We also have daily collective worship, which are a special time where children, staff and friends of the school come together and share ideas and experiences. Our collective worships are always guided by our Christian Values. Half termly, we have a different value to focus on. The value is discussed and promoted across the curriculum. Our Values this year are: Hope, Thankfulness, Trust, Forgiveness, Respect and Friendship.
We also have weekly Hymn practice collective worship.
